On our daily walks, we come across many scenes that not only delight our eyes but also provide food for thought.
Sometimes, a very ordinary incident can teach us a deep lesson in our lives. One such scene left a deep impression on me.
I would like to share that experience with the readers today.
Two women were standing at a roadside stall, drinking water from freshly cut young coconuts.
Many people might think, what’s new in this? Such scenes are seen every day.
But the matter was actually not that ordinary.
Both were elegant and personable. However, the way one of them drank coconut water was completely different.
There was such a uniqueness in her naturalness, confidence and presentation that forced passers-by to look at her without realizing it.
It seemed that she was not acting; rather, her innate personality was being revealed.
On the other hand, the other lady was doing the same thing. But she kept looking around.
Seeing the pedestrians’ gazes focused on the other, she felt a little uncomfortable and embarrassed.
But the woman in the story doesn’t seem to care. She continues to drink coconut water in her own way.
Which, I guess, adds another dimension to the scene.
This scene made me think deeply.
Two people are doing the same thing, both are beautiful and elegant, yet why did one attract everyone’s attention, while the other did not?
While searching for the answer, I realized that there was no special external reason behind it. The only difference was in individuality, confidence, and self-expression.
The same is true in our lives. Many of us do the same kind of work every day.
We work in the same profession, trying to achieve the same goal. But not everyone gets the same results. Because, in every work,
there is an opportunity to express our individuality, sincerity, and personality.
Those who can utilize that opportunity are able to make even ordinary work extraordinary.
- People do not only remember the work;
- Remembers the way of doing the work, sense of responsibility, sincerity and expression of personality.
- Therefore, no matter what work we do, we try to leave an impression of our individuality, s
- incerity and beautiful expression in that work.
- Because, these qualities are what make a person different from a crowd of ten.
- My words:
- It is easy to work like ten, but it is not easy to become one out of ten.
- That path is created by your own individuality, confidence, sincerity and love for work.
- So do not imitate others, try to be the best version of yourself. Only then can you also be one out of ten.
