I, you—we all carefully preserve our most beloved things,
our deepest affections, for someone or other.
The one we wait to give,
the one we want to hand over all the treasures of our feelings.
After the Creator—
that person is perhaps
our closest,
our most beloved person.
And this selfless longing,
this ultimate plea of the heart—
this is called love.
- Because—
- Love is not just about receiving.
- It is rather a strong desire to give the best of yourself to your loved one.
ভালোবাসার পরম মিনতি
আমি, আপনি—আমরা সবাই
আমাদের সবচেয়ে প্রিয় জিনিসগুলো,
আমাদের সবচেয়ে গভীর ভালোলাগাগুলো
কারও না কারও জন্যই সযত্নে তুলে রাখি।
যাকে দেওয়ার জন্য আমরা অপেক্ষা করি,
যার হাতে তুলে দিতে চাই
আমাদের অনুভূতির সবটুকু সঞ্চয়।
সৃষ্টিকর্তার পর—
সেই মানুষটিই হয়তো
আমাদের সবচেয়ে আপন,
আমাদের ভালোবাসার মানুষ।
আর এই যে নিঃস্বার্থ আকুলতা,
এই যে অন্তরের পরম মিনতি—
এরই নাম ভালোবাসা।
- কারণ—
- ভালোবাসা মানে শুধু পাওয়া নয়।
- বরং নিজের সেরা টুকু -প্রিয়জনের হাতে
- তুলে দেওয়ার তীব্র আকাঙ্ক্ষা।
